MINUTES OF CONFERENCE AT DERBY.

Replying to EWT.11/GR.{George Ratcliffe}9.1.33., the following is the experimental position of the items mentioned in this memo. :-

Item (1) of Agenda. New and Cheaper Type Bonnet Fasteners.
A sample of these will be ready by Wednesday.

Item (2) of Agenda. Steering Generally.
We have another steering the same as fitted to Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}'s. car and this is to be run on the bump.

Item (5) of Agenda. Adjustable Shock Dampers.
19-EX. car has gone to France fitted with the automatically adjustable dampers. 20-EX. car at Derby is fitted with automatic shock dampers. J.2 and Per.3 are fitted with hand controlled adjustable shock dampers.

Item (6) of Agenda. J.2 Progress Generally.
This car has been delayed because we have not had time to work on it. The most backward unit is the carburetter and induction pipe. We expect to have the car fitted with this next week. There are several modifications which do not allow J.3 axle to be fitted on the present 20/25 but designs have already been completed for modifying the present 20/25 axle.

Item (7) of Agenda. Peregrine Generally.
The car which has completed 12,000 miles in France is now practically dismantled. The general condition of the car is good considering the treatment it has had. Per.3 the next car to go to France should be ready next week. It will have all the modifications fitted to it except the new steering and modified carb. No.4 car should be finished this week and No.5 car which will have all the latest parts including the new steering we expect to finish in about a fortnights time.
