We send herewith a list of Patent Searches for the week ending 12th September. 1940. We have divided the printed copies of the Specifications into two groups - those relating to aero we are sending to E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} and those relating to chassis we are sending to Da.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} The one relating to alloys we are sending to Hl. We also include a forth list marked "Additional" of published patents which are not amongst the names of which we usually search. These are being sent, - and will in future be sent, - because the Patent Office has for the time being discontinued the issue of the usual weekly Abridgements.
