Please cancel Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/NRC.{N. R. Chandler}8/MH.{M. Huckerby}14.3.38. which calls for new springs Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}31/2. and instead alter standard 24 springs G.82591 as follows -

Anneal in salt bath to 700°.

Close in 12 to 2.282 free length Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}31.
2.214 Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}32.

Heat to 800° - 810°.

Quench in oil.

Temper 300° - 350°.
