CLUTCH - 21-G-IV.

We wish to reduce still further the spring load on the inner pressure plate of this clutch. At present there are 6 springs of 25 lbs. each. We should like to reduce this load to 15 lbs. This can be done by grinding the ends of the set of 20 lb. load springs that were made. At the same time we should like to increase the spring movement from .012 to .015.

Will you please give us your opinion whether the inner plate can bind and tilt instead of moving square with its axis.
