HISPANO STEERING.

We wish to know the instantaneous steering leverage on the Hispano car on full left-hand lock.

By instantaneous leverage, we mean, the mean angular movement of both stub axles relative to the angular movement of the steering wheel. As you are aware, the two stub axles move through different angles.

Will you please lay out the steering from the details supplied and ascertain this point for us.

The method used by WW. to obtain these results is fully illustrated in N.sch.1968.
