Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Gryl/R.5.2.38. WRAITH JACKS. Some of the cars we have in Derby have sheet metal guards fitted to prevent stones damaging the rear jacks. These fold under, and eventually prevent the jacks returning. If 26.G.VI is fitted with these guards will you please remove one of them, so that we can see at the end of the mileage whether the damage to the unguarded jack is important, or not. We have not yet fitted these guards on P.III, and should like to be able to throw them away on Wraith. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls} | ||
