X6032 To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from ROY.{Sir Henry Royce} c. to Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst. ROY{Sir Henry Royce}1/MG26.1.32 [STAMP: RECEIVED 26 JAN 1932 H-] Messrs. Joseph Lucas Ltd advise they are proceeding with the High Frequency Horn which they are producing in collaboration with the Bosch Company of Stuttgart, and this should be available for trial shortly. They state that this must not be referred to as a "Bosch" Horn, as such action would jeopardise the Trade Mark rights, which of course are exclusively held by the Bosch Company of Stuttgart. Messrs. Lucas will manufacture these horns throughout in Birmingham under Bosch licences, and they wish us to make this point quite clear to our colleagues, as they are anxious to avoid causing any embarrassment to Messrs. Bosch. We have advised them, therefore, that in any future correspondence we shall refer to this Horn as the Lucas Special High Frequency Horn. Will you kindly note. ROY.{Sir Henry Royce} | ||
