PHANTOM FRONT AXLE.

Mr. Royce wishes to machine an axle down with
a view to seeing how light it could be before it became
weak.

We accordingly send herewith N.sch.2063 shewing the
amount of machining proposed.

It will be necessary to test one of these axles on
the bumping rig before it is put through any severe road test.
