We would inform you that the design shown on our Sketch No.100/1197 is covered by a patent which necessitates our supplying the complete gland, comprising carbon seal, rubber washer, and spring. This gland in lots of 200 would cost approximately 2s.3d. per complete assembly; this price would be subject to modification according to the method by which you propose to drive the carbon ring. We trust this covers the information which you require and we would be pleased to give you any further assistance possible.
