X5080. 25 HP. CARBURRETTER. We have a 25 HP. car running on the road with a modified standard carburetter using throttle-edge scheme of slow running. With this scheme we can use larger throats which give us a definite increase in power. The other advantages we can expect from the results of our tests so far, are that we should get better slow running than the present standard carburetter, and also much less tendency for explosions in the silencer. The scheme we are running is simply a mock-up arrangement. R.{Sir Henry Royce} has promised to prepare a design right away and we expect to be able to get this on to a car before it goes to France. the Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
