tyres roll over and are more or less trying to tear them-
selves away from the wheel. It is a very unsafe feeling.
The lean of the pivots, as far as we can check them, is :

N.S. ............ 1/16" (.062")
O.S. ............ 3/16" (.187")

We are, to-day, trying with the wheels unbalanced
1/2 lb. approximately. We are at present engaged on these
tests.

We have not tried the effects of unequal tyre
pressures, but will do so. We take it that you mean say 60
lbs. N.S.R., and 30 lbs. O.S.R., and vice versa.

Please note that during these tests the engine is
constantly tightening up, but we are endeavouring to nurse it
as much as possible.
