Will you kindly note that the charge to customer for the repairs to which you refer will be as follows :- 1. Work carried out at Hythe Road. as referred to on page 1 of your memo. - £38. 9. 1d. ✓ 2. Work carried out at Clan Foundry. (a) Dismantling Engine from Frame and re-fitting to chassis. - £7.15. 3d. (b) Fitting two new Rear Axle Shafts, liners to rear hand and foot brakes; to each front and rear Shackles with pins and bushes, front engine arm bushes and linings to Servo. - £22. 7. 2d. (c) Fitting Head Lamp stiffening crossmember - 16/10d. 3. New parts supplied. (a) New parts supplied by Hythe Road as enumerated in your memo. - £9.11.10d. (b) Parts supplied ex Derby repair department - £2.10.10d. 4. Petrol and Oil used for testing purposes. - £1.15. 4d. You refer to top decarbonisation on page 2 of your memo, but we are not justified in making a separate charge for this, in view of the fact that the engine overhaul in item one, actually includes this work.
