With reference to the attached note from Mr. Royce, this has been duly noted by all concerned and Mr. Northey, Mr. Cox and myself agree that a customer's decision as to detachable rims or wheels should as far as possible be unbiassed by us but if our opinion is definitely asked for, then we should say that Vinet or Michelin rims are mechanically strong and more easily carried as spares than the wheel. We should also mention that we are not satisfied with detachable wheels but that in fairness to Messrs. Rudge-Whitworth we should mention that they guarantee their wheels for three years. W.Cowen.
