| SECRET. To Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} from Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} C. to Ev{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}/HH. Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}15/JH.14.3.40. Left Hand Silver Phantom. Attached herewith are 4 copies of the specific-ation of the left hand Silver Phantom 31.G.7. for your distribution. The Draft of this specification was discussed at a Conference at "W" on Jan. 23rd. 1940, and reported in EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}3.24.1.40. All the modifications then agreed to have been incorporated. The designs are practically completed, and Ev{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}/HH. is now all-out on details and L.O.P's. We shall shortly give you a date for the completion of our instructions to "W". As the work goes on Ev{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}/HH. will fill in the scheme and L.O.P. numbers now lacking on the specification and when the job is completed the final specification will be issued to you. In the meantime we presume you will be building up a specification to which HPS{Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr}/RH.{R. Hollingworth} will build the car using where necessary improvised parts. | ||
