With reference to your letter of the 7th. inst. We have completed the engine, & [handwritten] induction pipe 4 [handwritten] for the [strikethrough]carburetters[/strikethrough] for your test. however we wish to run the engine and make sure that we get reasonable performance before we bring you here on the job.
