INSTALLATION DIRECTIONS
CLIFFORD RECTIFIER.

1st. Insert rectifier tube through hole in manifold placing a ½” copper gaskett (⅞” spark plug gasket) at top and bottom of manifold. Clamp into position with the locking nut.

2nd. Connect rectifier oil intake (at the bottom) with the motor oil pressure line by means of a ⅛” O.D. copper tube.

3rd. Connect rectifier overflow with the crank case (above oil level) by means of a ⅛” O.D. copper tube. Avoid sharp bends and do not trap oil at any point.

4th. Connect vapour outlet of rectifier to the air intake of carburetter at a point where a very slight vacuum exists. Avoid sharp bends and traps.

5th. Remove screw exposing hole provided for insertion of thermometer. Pour in motor oil until rectifier tube is full. Insert thermometer in hole provided for same. Start motor and set thermostat so that the temperature of oil is from 290º F.{Mr Friese} to 300º F.{Mr Friese} with the motor running at fairly high idling speed with the spark retarded.
