Mr Barrington. X815 July 13th. 1912. W. Martin Edmund [struck through] 2100 Carville Re Locking arrangement for nut on rear hubs, as suggested by you [struck through]. With reference to the above I believe this matter has already been reported on but I am not quite satisfied as regards standardization. I have seen Mr Bailey on this matter who agrees to fix same on Series 2100, I shall be glad if you will have this confirmed so that the matter will go through in the usual way. The job is quite a satisfactory one and has been inspected and passed by the T.C. We have tested same to see if the thread could be damaged by spinning whilst the spanner was in position, but same was found to be quite O.K. This job has I understand been approved by Mr Royce.
