To EFC. from E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} 7th January, 1919. E3/G7119. 3362 RE LIGHTING INSTALLATION AT WEST WITTERINGHenry Royce's home town. In reply to your memo EFC1/T2119, would you kindly note that the small porcelain switch has never been sent, but has become damaged, the porcelain cover being broken. We have now, however, forwarded this to you by post, and hope that you will be able to replace the cover. The position of this matter of the lighting installation now is that Mr. Royce expects you to send him drawings of what you can supply. The proposals need not be limited to one scheme, but the drawings should be arrangement drawings of the office distributing board and the engine switchboard, made with the object of giving a good idea of the general size, character, and distribution of the units and of the features of the boards.
