Bowering See me about this Rem Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} BY/Cgh.{W Clough} 8/G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} 24.4.35. 20/25 HP. CHASSIS - PETROL TANK. File With reference to RR.Sch.639 showing a special fitting on the petrol tank filler to enable either a vent plug or a remote vent pipe to be fitted, and which we understand was fitted on 21-G-1V. we should be glad to know if same is satisfactory. The reason we raise this question is that although we have a somewhat similar scheme on production the one shown on RR.Sch.639 is preferable, as it enables the vent pipe connection to be taken straight down from the filler.
