PROVISION FOR FRICTION IN NEW PHANTOMCodename for PHANTOM I LINK AND BALANCE GEAR.

X8310

With reference to BY3/H1.3.26. N.sch.1860 was never adopted because it did not allow us to get sufficient friction. We have taken the matter up with DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} several times and they have made other suggestions by having additional springs. We have not found these to be of any value.

We recommend that it should be pointed out to R-R Inc. that friction on the swing link is very essential.
