X.973 - RE BROLIT DYNAMOS AND STARTER MOTORS.

We are sending you herewith copy of a letter (ref. H {Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} /H) of July 8th received from Messrs. Brolt Limited with reference to dynamos and starter motors. We have already handed the blue prints to Mr. Thacker and we should be glad if he would examine these and say which of these standard machines of theirs would be mechanically suitable for our large and small cars.

At the same time we will consider the output curves with which Messrs. Brolt have provided us, after which we will report to Mr. Royce accordingly.

It was not put up to Messrs. Brolt to make up a special machine, but all Mr. Royce asked was that we should provide them with such particulars as to enable us to find out whether they have stock machines.

After putting the matter again before Mr. Royce we may expect him to say whether he would like us to get them to make up anything special.

EFC. {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer}
