Paris Trials Bentley.

We understand that on this car which has a light body you find the rear braking undesirably powerful. We are therefore sending you two levers G.100562, which have been altered to give 20% less rear brake force.

As we have had to remove the boss from this lever, please see that the jaw is packed with suitable thin washers to prevent rattles. We think the brake rods will still clear the footwells.

We are also sending you a pair of 35° servo cams. As these increase the servo multiplication of torque they will increase the proportion of front braking slightly. Please try the altered levers first, as they will not increase front brake thumps.

We are developing a device for increasing the proportion of front braking under heavy brake applications, leaving the distribution as it is now under light applications, so that we shall not lock the front wheels on greasy London streets. When finished this device should be useful for overcoming your trouble also.
