[Handwritten, crossed out: 5410] Mr. Royce has approved of the 'India' car fitted with 4-wheel brakes in which the proportion of front braking has been reduced according to his latest instructions, also fitted with the stiffer front springs. The springs fitted to the car were not according to the very latest instructions but they were within 5%. We are expecting final springs from the makers tomorrow. It is then our intention to send a car to London for Sales to approve of the springing so that the front springs for 'India' can be placed on order. R.{Sir Henry Royce} agreed that the 5% alteration on the final springs should not noticeably alter the springing as compared with when he tried the car last week. The car will be ready to send to London on Thursday or Friday this week. Will you please let us have instructions where you wish this car to be sent. The car is fitted with an open touring body.
