Altered position of oil feed to engine gears.

Origin.
Mr. Platford complains that engine gears develop noise owing to the fact that dirt and carbon collect in the teeth of the gears.
Experimental Test Report.
The present position of the oil feed was fixed when we used straight gears, now that we use helical, owing to the angle of the teeth, the whole length of the teeth is not washed by the oil.

Run 3,000 miles on 4EX.
Run 2,000 miles on 6EX.
