y 23rd March 1911 C.J. 23/3/11 R3/D23311 We are still very interested in crankshaft vibrations and we are making for the 1600 car, which has the crankshaft of increased diameter, one which will also have increased depth and thickness of webs. This will be carrying the crankshaft as far as it is practicable to go into the matter of rigidity, and as it would reasonably be expected, the increased rigidity of the crankshaft <handwritten>we hope will</handwritten> <strikethrough>enables</strikethrough> us to obtain an increase of power without the distressing vibrations.
