As per our Sr/VA3/ET.24.3.36, we sent a full report to Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} and Hd.{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy} upon the matter. This is the first time that we have had to attend to a piston seizure on a Bentley engine. 81. Excessive headlamp and front wing movement. March Quarter. C.C. C.P. Previous Quarter. C.C. I C.P. As there seems to be a doubt as to the main or especially the intermediate (white metal) bearings being in a reliable condition on cars which are in the habit of being driven at high speeds for long distances and that have already covered a certain mileage, we shall be glad to have a ruling upon the matter as soon as possible. 83.
