E.7.C. X7701 Date 12-5-30. Ref No. WE21. X NOS. 5700, 7700 Paraffin waxed paper condensers for RR Battery ignition. Two of these condensers have now completed a considerable mileage on experimental cars without failure. One on 14G4 has done 25,500 mls to date and the other on 19EX 11000 miles. The features of these condensers are:- ① Constancy of capacity during temperature variations. ② Cheaper to manufacture i.e. we understand waxed paper is cheaper than varnished paper. We have not done any bench tests other than preliminary production tests on these condensers, but we consider if BY concurs, that a small batch of say 50 could be sent out on production as an experiment on the reliability consistency of these condensers.
