TO HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} FROM DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} ORIGINAL DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}2/M31.12.26. X8770 X8760 X8410 OY13/E/111026. Thank you for sending me a copy of As a matter of fact R.{Sir Henry Royce} passed us his copy some little while ago, and we reported that we were in agreement with the principle contentions which OY. had made, and in fact had anticipated the contention about the moment of inertia of the chassis, and the one about the periodicity not being entirely dependent on the deflection of one of the sets of springs. We expect we shall be taking up this question of riding qualities in a short while. DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} | ||
