To HPS{Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr}, from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/AFM.{Anthony F. Martindale} c. to By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} 600a Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/AFM.{Anthony F. Martindale}12/AP.17.11.37. WRAITH BRAKES. 26.G.Vl.{V. Lewis / Mr Valentine} when it goes to France is to be fitted with cast iron brake drums and must therefore have the steel shoes G-CD.160, instructed in By/CHL.3/EH.12.11.37. We do not want dies sunk for these shoes as there is now a possibility that tipping shoes will be unnecessary on production Wraiths. Will you therefore produce as many sets of these shoes in cast steel, as you make sets of cast iron brake drums, and fit one set to 26.G.Vl.{V. Lewis / Mr Valentine} A specification for 26.G.Vl.{V. Lewis / Mr Valentine} is now being drawn up and this will be included on it. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/AFM.{Anthony F. Martindale} | ||
