(a) Minute 6 of 12/5/20. - The matter of placing a contract with Messrs Marston & Co. is being placed in front of their Board. (b) Minute 2 of 13/5/20. - Re approximate cost of machinery and tools. Mr.Hadlenby stated he was waiting for model pieces and Mr.Bailey reported that instructions for same had been given to Works. Models are practically completed. (2) DYNAMOS. (a) Minute 2 of 18/5/20. -Testing of Dynamos. The rig for testing dynamos is now fixed and is just being finished off in a few final details. (b) We are asking representatives of Messrs Lucas Co. to come here on Monday afternoon to go into the questions arising out of Dynamos. Also to go into the question of placing further orders of the present type of dynamo, in order to avoid stoppage of production. Several dynamos are going to be tested actually on cars. (3) MALLEABLE CASTINGS. Handysides are closing down their Malleable Foundry and we are in difficulties to get malleable Exhaust Boxes and Fan Brackets. Mr.Whitehead is making every effort to get a new manufacturer, but up to the present has not been able to do so,owing to every firm being so full up with orders.
