X. 3362. X. 949 R7/G13219. 13th February, 1919. The Tudor Accumulator Co.Ltd., 3, Central Buildings, Matthew Park Street, Westminster. LONDON, S.W.1. Dear Sirs, Sorry a touch of influenza and much serious work has caused me to neglect replying to your letter. The 12 volt battery quoted will do quite well. Please send with it a single tier supporting stand, and insulators, and if at some future time I increase the voltage to 24 or 32, by adding more cells, I will get another stand. If there is a standard voltage used in train lighting, kindly let me know what it is. [Handwritten annotations on diagram] <-- best minimum length. --> about 12" on insulators Wood tressel varnished to protect it from sulphuric acid Pleased to hear you are making some progress with the bettery for the Rolls-Royce car lighting. It is an urgent matter to let them have the trial cells. I believe the prospects of business if worth your attention, because it is a manufacturing repetition job amounting to a fairly large sum per annum. Yours faithfully, From F.H.Royce. | ||
