Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd, Derby. 15.5.40.

..of the carburetter, with alternative sizes of throttle
barrel, so that with the same main components, a 30, 36 or
42 mm. twin downdraught carburetter can be built up.

Therefore, if you wish to use a twin downdraught
carburetter on a smaller engine, we suggest that you employ
one of the AA.{D. Abbot-Anderson}25 Models now on the way, and that we make a
30 mm. throttle body for it.

In order to make a pattern and machine one sample
we shall require 6 to 8 weeks at the present time.

We are afraid there has been practically no
demand for such a small twin carburetter to suit a 14 hp.
engine, hence our reason for not making or stocking this
small size.

However, if you will let us have more details of
the engine, it is possible that a 30 mm. will be suitable
by using a small size of choke tube.

In any case, we will do our very best to meet
your requirements in every way, and remain,

Yours faithfully,
THE ZENITH CARBURETTER CO.LTD.
