GLEASON BEVEL GEARS.
-----------------

With reference to Wd{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead}'s memo. Wd{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead}7/WJ6.8.20 re. above.

I am not certain, but I believe Mr. Whitehead is under the impression that we have not yet tested any of the Gleason Gears cut by these people. This is not so. We have already tested six, and it was on the strength of the result of these tests, that 500 more were ordered.

I mention this in the hope that it will help you to clear up this matter.
