As regards the difference in cooling at low speeds, we hope to remedy this by means of a more effective fan; in any case it must be borne in mind that owing to the higher power and lower gear ratio of the Ph.III car (see attached curves), it will be running under full throttle low speed conditions far less frequently than the Ph.II car, so that it may be adequately cooled with a lower critical air temperature than the latter.
