The following is the position of experiments about which you have been inquiring:-

X3739 - Piston to LeC.1163.
The details for this were drawn out but in view of the numerous piston drawings received from West WitteringHenry Royce's home town, many of which cancelled previous drawings, they have not been issued, and have been marked "Not Used".

X3765 - Piston to LeC.1176.
The above has been incorporated with LeC.1166 - details of which were issued under X3746.

X3683 - Starter Gear - U.S.A. Chassis.
This has not yet been commenced.

X3753 - Hand Brake Equalizing Shaft - U.S.A.
A scheme and details of this have been drawn out, but not yet issued. Mr Day is looking into the matter with a view to passing it over to BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer}
