X. 7430 DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} from R.{Sir Henry Royce} c. to BJ. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} R4/M16.4.28. SS.{S. Smith} STEERING N.SCH.2570 Perhaps we ought to keep between 15 and 16 leverage - turns from full lock to full lock 2.6, and the larger worm, about .9 pitch, 1.000 would give just under 16/1 i.e. N.sch.2570, not N.sch.2574. I have not finally decided if mounting in the frame is the best possible. Apparently we cannot get it down without taking the engine out. If this is so, will you try to find a better scheme.
