Dear Mr. Pomeroy,

We should be pleased to stellite a dozen exhaust valves for you. Will you please send them addressed to me, c/o.{Mr Oldham} the Experimental Dept., and I will get the work done and let you have them back as soon as possible.

I am going to be at Olympia on the 21st and 22nd October, and in the highly improbable event of us meeting amidst the hundred thousand other people there, we shall mutually agree that it is an occasion for mild celebration!
