To Hm{Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs}/WW. from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} X4565 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}2/LG8.12.28. CHASSIS No. 111-YC. KOSKY. X4565 X4118 With reference to Hm{Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs}/WW13/KW7.12.28. We cannot agree to balloon tyres being fitted to Phantom cars with front wheel brakes unless hydraulic shock absorbers are fitted at the front. If this is done, the car is almost certain to suffer from high speed wobbles as an owner will never keep his tyres pumped up to the necessary pressure to avoid these. Hydraulics, of course, need not be fitted to the rear. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
