During the preliminary running in England 3373 miles were covered. This car ran on the Continent from 31.1.38 to 30.3.38 during which time 17,374 miles were covered. The total distance run up to returning to Derby was 20,747 miles. A list of the parts which were fitted during the running, and did not, therefore, cover the full mileage, also a list of various alterations and faults has been circulated to those concerned. A full report on the running will follow on completion of the investigation work at present in progress, and examination after stripping. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/IMW.{Ivan M.
