You have obtained for us on approval a sample C.A.V. moving coil chassis ammeter. We note, however, that this in not of the central zero type such as we use on existing production. Discussing the matter with a C.A.V. representative at Messrs. Lucas yesterday, however, it appears that they could supply if required a central zero ammeter of similar type. We are accordingly returning the ammeter they have already sent to us to the Stores for return to them and we should be glad if you would take up the matter with the C.A.V. Co. with a view to obtaining a further sample moving coil ammeter arranged with a central zero.
