We have now received our Laboratory Report on the New Alto De Luxe Horns, which you returned to us a few days ago with alleged loss of tone. The renovated horns have been returned to you under separate cover. The high note horn on being tested was quite good but the low note had certainly lost its tone. Careful examination showed that the adjusting sleeve was loose, and that there was a little end play on the guide rod. We can assure you that this is the first case of this kind, and we are quite sure that it is unlikely to happen again, no doubt due to a defective assembling, and we shall instruct our works to carefully watch for this point. Trusting that this will be satisfactory to you. Yours faithfully, JOSEPH LUCAS LIMITED. Technical Sales Department. L. G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} Yalmin | ||
