HODC Sr/EWP.{Mr Punt}... from Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} c. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls} Da{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}3/N.31.3.39. My dear Punt, In my records of the time table for the Bentley "Corniche" fixed up when M.Paulin was over here, 14.B.5. has been booked down as arriving in England during the last days of April. Talking to people in Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}'s Dept. yesterday, they appear to be working hard to produce the modified chassis pieces, as they are expecting the car over here about the 14th. April. From what you told me, neither the 14th. of April or the end of April are very likely dates, and it would be a great help to us in regulating our work here if you could give us a rough and unofficial estimate of when you think we shall get the car. Anything you may tell me will not be used in evidence against you or M.Paulin. I would very much like to have your candid opinion. Kindest regards, Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} | ||
