γ2061. To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} Easy Change Gear. Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}2/E4.5.31 x5>3. [STAMP: RECEIVED 10 MAY 1931] Referring to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}5/MJ.2.5.31 I note you were unable to see or try a Voisin car with magnetic controlled double top. If you really want to get some information about this, I was wondering whether we could not get it from Hm.{Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs} in Paris. In regard to a Graham Paige car fitted with synchro mesh to a four speed gearbox with a silent third, as there are none in England, it might be worth while writing to one of our friends in the American Company to see if they could give us information about it, and if they think it really good, perhaps they could buy one for us and send it over. I will, however, raise both these matters/when I am with you this week. Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} | ||
