PY/ce. c. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} c. Rep. c. Met. r(6117). BY/Cgh.{W Clough}13/W.3.8.36. CHASSIS : IGNITION CABLES. The Experimental Department do not now wish us to introduce the black cambric covered high tension ignition cables, and we should use the ordinary plain rubber Helsby cable instead of maconite, therefore will you please issue instructions for all three chassis. It is, however, intended that we should use Helsby cable with black cambric covering for the conductors between the distributors and coils on the 25/30 H.P. and Bentley chassis, similar to what we already do in the case of the Phantom III. Will the Repair Department please note that after the existing stock of maconite cable has been used up they should get into line with the above for repair work. BY/Cgh.{W Clough} | ||
