Attached is the elementary theory of the loads and torques in chassis propeller shaft as expounded by Mechanics Universal Joint Divn. of the Borg Warner Corp. of America.

It is hoped shortly to quote a general expression for the torque in the shaft for any angular position of the spider. (struck through)
