2 how sure you feel about the design & however simple the parts for your designs should be framed & hung in the drawing office. Well tested standard units must always be used & not as listed. unless Mr Bentley permission & signature is obtained. This might help your standardisation scheme, pattern tools, costs, stock, & in a dozen ways help the management & reduce the R.B.W. Regarding Transpeds I am very anxious that you should test some improved tyres with in-clinched wheels on sharp curves, because your present ones have shown that they are dependant on each unvaried presence of shrinking on centres & flanges. Perhaps your comments in writing, (Probable) it would be better to try a new cast steel wheel. Any way I am sure it would be worth trying the in-clinched wheels at an early date. I hope to come & see you at Manchester when I determine what should be done after end of March in the mean time send me any designs of your own for criticism, this blue print paper sales postage & errors equals well for 10000 approx. We have had two cars on test out here running on cool January boots 140 miles per day & night to prove their reliability.
