Dear Sirs,

We beg to acknowledge receipt of your letter of the 20th inst., regarding the sample Gauze Filter Joints we have recently made and submitted for your examination.

The writer is of the opinion that the Joints submitted are not exactly suitable for the purpose for which they are intended. We are making up further samples which we think may prove more suitable, and we hope to let you have these in the course of the next day or so.

Yours faithfully,
THE COPPER AND ASBESTOS WASHER CO LTD.

C.H.Yates.
