Concave dial instruments.

Dear Sirs,

Referring to yours of the 27th ultimo ref. S.l we are now sending you under separate cover the thermometer which failed also another oil gauge the complaint with this being that it will not record accurately.

The thermometer failure was due to the extension tube fracturing and from examination it appears that this tube was not properly annealed.

Will you please have these two instruments repaired and returned to us with your comments with regard to what measures you propose adopting to avoid further failures.
