Re Wraith III Bonnets.

A little while ago we wrote to you asking that we have one standard bonnet on the Wraith, namely - a bonnet having an overhang of 8.5" and a back slope of 12°. That was one of the bonnets shown on the original bonnet scheme, LeC.5203. On this scheme, also we showed Phantom III shutters.

Since this date Sales have agreed to allow us to use the standard 25/30 H.P. 11° slope of shutter on the Phantom III bonnet having an 11° slope at the back end.

It would seem to us, therefore, that we should use this 25/30 H.P. 11° shutter on the Wraith. To do this we propose to keep the overhang at 8.5" as previously instructed, but to change the angle of slope from 12° to 11°. The shutters would be placed longitudinally in the bonnet as shown on LeC.5203. Vertically, the tops of the 25/30 H.P. would be put in the same place as those on LeC.5203, but because the shutters are shorter the bases will be higher up.

We would be glad if you would kindly arrange to instruct this bonnet for Wraith III cars, 26.G.6 and 27.G.6.

With respect to 25.G.6. the body has already been built for the original bonnet having a 17° slope shown on LeC.5203, and a suitable bonnet will have to be instructed working to this old scheme.
