Dear Sirs,
In reply to your letter regarding Water Pump Seal Spring Retainers - Part No. 1038351 and 1038352., we have to advise you that Messrs. Vauxhall Motor Co. Limited, buy these pressings in large quantities and to mount tools specially to do 1,000 - lots; of these complicated pressings will compel us to ask you more than we should ask Messrs. Vauxhall for these, to cover the cost of tool setting.
In submitting our prices herewith as requested, we would very respectfully like to say that these tools were made and paid for by Messrs. Vauxhall Motor Co., and you will doubtless be able to give us their permission to use same.
We feel sure you will appreciate this proviso, as anyone asking us to use tools for which you had paid would have to give us your sanction to use same before we put work in hand.
Awaiting the favour of your further esteemed comments.
Yours faithfully,
THE BIRMINGHAM STOPPER AND CYCLE COMPONENTS COMPANY LTD.
